Also one thing i want to really really stress out here… If something chances societal norms im pretty sure that will. Then we can damned well have armour in whatever class that FITS.Īnd in game logic wise…we are immortal people now. That said Freya was actually a godess said to be quite the combatant…and simoultainiously a prostitute as in she actually bought jewelry from 3 dwarves for giving them…intimate services (so called shieldmaidens did exist but super rare and valkries are actually figures of mythology alongside dragons, elves and dwarves. Id say that counts as being the odd one out. That said if you go for norse sagas we actually have stories of female fighters. The consensus is that these “female warriors” were actually never fighting and it was just a cultural way of showing someones status, as a high class female rather than them being actual warriors. And the scythians did have female armors BUT heres the deal, neither the armor, weapon nor skeletons of the women burried with thise, showed any signs of battle. that being said…Īs in offensive warriors? im not aware of that, sure germanic armies often had women…as cheerleaders. Which had female warriors more commonly until conversion. To everyone that read this to the end, I hope you have a wonderful rest of your day. You don’t like how someone dresses their toon, you don’t have to wear the same thing too.Īt the end of the day, having alllllll the variety and choice is the best option because I highly doubt you are the exact same as the next person that comments on this. So because of all the variety in the player base is there, why on earth would you not have the variety in dress attire as such? Everyone has different playstyles and there are going to be people that want dress their character differently. News flash, this is not “your game”, this is a game you decided you, along with hundreds of thousands of other players decided to buy and play. To all the previous comments about “no lets limit this” or “no you can’t do that because it seems sexist” or whatever. And some like dressing all super dark and/or scary - Sick, why not.Others are those that like dressing up like you’re in some black ops - Cool, do it. Then there are those that want to dress all sexy/revealing - I mean why not, welcome to 2021.There are those who like dressing up in Full plate armor and the like because it looks the role - Ay, awesome. There are people who like dressing their characters like cats - Fair enough. There are people who want to dress their character like they were going to church. No because as has been pointed out by countless different people saying their view on this at this point trying to express their opinions having all “gender neutral” lacks the freedom to choose how someone wants to express themselves. Everyone can find something they like without issue of “it looks more like x gender”. The best thing to do in this case is create entirely, or mostly, gender neutral cosmetics.
